Tribune contains the following evidently "by authority" announcement.<br /><br />At an Eclesiastical Council convened by the Baptist Church in St. Paul, Territory of Minnesota, to invesigate the chaacter and c onduct of the Rev. James Tanner, the half-breed Chippewa. On the evidence adduced he was found guilty of immoral and unchristian conduct and it was unanimously resolved to depose him from the Gospel Minisry; and recommend to the Church his exclusion from fellowship.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
