The first image above is a detailed map of the Red River Settlement. It was a major settlement in the Selkirk Grant, which also included Pembina (see second map, at left...)During part of the time period of this settlement, due to flooding and other factors, the settlers (temporarily) moved to and lived in Pembina itself.
