Borderlines

Left to Right: Jim Gooselaw, Fred Stranger, Allen Smith, Roy Clow, Manuel Gooselaw, Cecil Smith, Billy MacKay; Goalkeeper (seated), Ralph Cameron
This is the 1928 St. Vincent hockey team. It's also the team that opened the season by beating Neche 12-0!

Below are several images from the 1928 edition of Borderlines, the name of St. Vincent's yearbook. It's an interesting year from my perspective because three of my grandparents' five children are attending school that year, including my mother.

Hi Trish, I too went to St Vincent school in my 1st grade. We moved back in 1949 due to the flood of 1948. My father had started to build a new house when he got disgusted and we moved to Bemidji. I have alot of relatives in St. Vincent, Emerson, and Humbolt. My aunt was Eva Gardner. The last time I was back their was back in about 1995 or so. For her 90th birthday. I also had cousins that lived in Pembina and my grandmother who lived in St. Vincent, who lived down by the red river which floated down the river back in the 1948 flood. Your facebook sight is very interesting. Keep up the good work.
