Great site...I happened upon it looking for info on Humboldt. I spent my summers there playing baseball when the school was HSVLP Humboldt, St. Vincent, Lancaster, Pembina...they were great times. I miss that town and think about the families that might still be there (daggen, gatheridge, clow, diamond, hemmes, finney, etc...)
My grandfather was Robert "Bob" Haller ...superintendent of the school for a few years. So I was just a kid who came up from the cities during the summer to play ball, hit the tastee-freeze in Pembina, and on occasion drive all the way to Canada to find a swimming pool.
